Home tips and Ayurvedic remedies for UTI

Home tips and Ayurvedic remedies for managing and preventing Urinary Tract Infections

Home Tips for UTI Prevention:

  1. Stay Hydrated: Proper hydration helps flush out bacteria from the urinary tract. Aim to drink at least 8 cups of water daily.
  2. Urinate Regularly: Don’t hold urine for too long. Frequent urination helps prevent bacterial growth.
  3. Wipe Front to Back: After using the toilet, always wipe from front to back to prevent bacteria from the anal area reaching the urethra.
  4. Avoid Irritants: Limit consumption of caffeine, alcohol, and spicy foods, as they can irritate the urinary tract.
  5. Cranberry Juice: Some studies suggest that cranberry juice may help prevent UTIs by preventing bacteria from adhering to the bladder wall.
